Turnaround

The average turnaround for processing and production is roughly two to four weeks from the order approval date. You may add a Rush service to your order to expedite to ten business days or less.

It is possible for the total turnaround time to be shorter or longer depending on the above factors, holidays, weather conditions, deadlines, and delays.


Wondering how quickly you'll get your book back?
Orders for AsukaBook products are usually sent for production within 2 business days of them being received by us. Once an AsukaBook book order has been approved and sent for production, standard Australian orders should be received by you in approximately 4 weeks. New Zealand orders take a few days longer due to international freight & customs formalities.

Need a book faster than that?
You have the option to pay an additional RUSH fee of $56 per order. Australian RUSH orders should be received by you in approximately 3 weeks. New Zealand orders take a few days longer due to international freight & customs formalities.

How does shipping method affect turnaround time?
Courier is out automatic option (Star Track or Fastway) not Aus Post. The customer does not have the option to pick the courier via the system either. We decide that.

What can hold an order up?
Several things! Layout concerns can cause an order to be delayed. We contact you if we have concerns and your order is placed on hold until we are able to go over those concerns with you. Please review our Design Tips to learn how to avoid common order delays.

 

How will you ship my AsukaBook order?
Your AsukaBook order will be shipped via Australia Post, Startrack Express or Fastway depending on your location. 
Do you have expedited shipping options?
Yes. When placing your AsukaBook Order you will have the option to choose the method of shipping you prefer. If a preferred method of shipping is unavailable on the drop-down menu, please contact Customer Care.
Where is my order shipped from?
All AsukaBook orders are reviewed and processed in Sydney Australia. All files are sent to the AsukaNet production facility in Hiroshima, Japan where they are printed and bound. Once that has been completed, the books are sent to our office in Sydney for a final review, packaging, and shipping.
Do you drop ship?
No. Unfortunately we do not drop ship orders directly to our customers clients. We ship directly to the shipping address on account for you to review and present to your clients.
Will you send me tracking information once my order is shipped?
Yes. You will be sent an e-mail confirmation that your order has been shipped out. The e-mail will contain ask you to log in to your account and view your updated sales receipt/statement, which will include your tracking number so that you may track your package in transit. Our shipping software will also send you a shipping confirmation.
Can all my recent orders be shipped together?
Yes. This will only happen if we receive multiple orders at our distribution center at the same time. In this case, you will need to contact us to arrange combined shipping as it will not be done automatically. We are unable to hold numerous orders/books on site awaiting more to arrive from our production facility due to storage limitations. Because of this, most orders will be shipped individually.
Is there a handling fee for AsukaBook orders?
Yes. All AsukaBook orders incur a handling fee.
How much is the handling fee?
Handling fee is A$10.00 for up to 3 books and increases by an additional A$10.00 for every 3 books thereafter. Please contact Customer Care for bulk order-handling fee estimates.
Why does AsukaBook charge a handling fee?
A handling fee is charged to all AsukaBook orders to cover file & product handling, error trapping, bandwidth charges, support personnel, customs coordination as well as processing the shipment of each order.
