How long does it take for an AsukaBook order?
You will receive your AsukaBook order in approximately 4 weeks from when your order goes to production. A production Rush may be requested for an additional $50.00 to receive orders within approximately 3 weeks of receipt of files. (This timeframe may vary based on your shipping location.)

Can I upload the book layout through the Internet?
Yes, online orders are recommended,
but you also have the option to place a Mail Order by sending us CD or DVD along with applicable completed forms. You can upload up to 3 PDFs at one time. The upload time will vary. The status bar on the upload page will indicate the progress of your upload. If you have problems with uploading files, please contact support.

How long does it take to upload a file through the Internet?
The upload time will vary depending on your Internet connection speed, the size of your files, and possibly simultaneous heavy order volume. Uploading can take anywhere from a few minutes up to a few or more hours.

What if my Internet connection is very slow?
You can also submit your order via mail by burning your PDF(s) on to a CD or DVD
and send through the mail along with appropriate completed forms.
To expedite your order, please ensure you fill out the following two forms.

What do I do if my upload gets interrupted?
Always make sure that sleep mode is disabled in your computer settings before uploading. With the current system in place in Australia/NZ you should begin your upload again by clicking the Resume Upload button. If that fails, please contact Customer Care and we will advise you what to do. We are able to refund and cancel the order/s so that you may begin your upload again if required. Customer Care operates Monday-Friday.

Can I order an AsukaBook by sending single digital images or film to you?
Currently, we only accept completely designed files for orders. However, our partner company, A Perfect Design, can design and order a book for you using your images and input.

How many Books can I order at one time?
You can order just one copy or thousands from the same file. To request a price quote for a large order, please contact AsukaBook Customer Care. |

Can I order an unlimited amount of files per order?
No, you can only upload a maximum of 3 files per order, but you may select an unlimited quantity of books per file.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard or Amex? Payment must be processed before an order is uploaded and completed.

How long does an order take to process before it is in production?
Orders are usually reviewed and processed within 48 hours. If concerns are found during review of your order, you will be contacted at that time. As we have no way of storing your files in a “holding pattern” awaiting payment, please supply credit card details before you upload or request a quotation so that you may direct debit prior to sending the files. Files sent without payment are deleted after 48 hours.

Does AsukaBook review my files?
All AsukaBook orders are reviewed for concerns. If any concerns are found in an order, an AsukaBook representative will contact you with the option to resubmit a new file, printed “as-is”, or place a new order. We review every order before it is sent to production for any noticeable colour (skin tone or density) concerns, but we do not check for spelling errors or design and colour choices. Before placing your AsukaBook order you must agree that you have reviewed your file(s) and they are ready for print. By doing so you take full responsibility for the layout and content.

Can I make changes after placing orders?
Carefully review all of the pages before submitting your order. If you do find changes that need to be made, please contact us immediately so that your order is not sent to production with errors. Once your files have been reviewed and forwarded to the production centre, they cannot be changed and production of your book cannot be stopped. (Orders are usually reviewed and processed in 24 hours or less, so it is very important to review your order before placing it to ensure there are no further corrections that must be made.)

Can I cancel my order at any time?
No, once your order has been processed (orders are usually reviewed and processed within 24 hours or less), it cannot be cancelled without penalty. Cancellation fees are typically 70% of the second book price.

Can I order an extra book jacket, case, or presentation box for my book?
Yes, you may order duplicate copies of these items. Designed book jackets or presentation boxes must be ordered within 45 days of the original book order. Additional frosted cases or EX cases can be ordered at any time. For more information or to purchase additional products, please contact AsukaBook Customer Care.

Can you provide a discount on additional copies of previously submitted files?
Yes, you may order reprint books at a discounted price. Your order file(s) will be stored for a period of 45 days from the date the order was placed. You may order reprints at any time during this 45-day period at a discounted price. After 45 days, you will need to place a new order for desired products at full retail price. To place a reprint order; please contact customer care. You will need the original order number of the book in question which can be found in the small barcode on the back of the book.
