| How can I see a sample of an ASUKABOOK? |
You can see samples of ASUKABOOKs at many photography related conventions,
seminars, or workshops. We can mail you a flyer printed on the press with the type of
paper used. You may purchase a sample book (if available) if you do not have time to
prepare your own. If you are interested in requesting any of these, or to find out about
upcoming events, please contact us.

| What information might I lose in the gutter of a Book-Bound Book? |
In Book Bound books, the signatures are stacked, cut and adhered to the book spine
using perfect binding. You will lose approximately 1/2" in the gutter with this type of
binding. Please keep vital information (such as faces) out of that area.

Do I have to place an image on the cover?
|
Once you have selected your book size, including the number of pages, open up file
g0000.psd,h (be sure to View/Show/Guides). You can have an image gwrap aroundh to
the back, a single image or multiple images on the front and/or the back, leave it blank (the
color of your canvas will be the printed color), add text, or even add text on the spine...
The design is totally up to you.

Will the blue barcode showing in my file be printed on the final book as well?

There will be a small barcode where that place marker is, but in the final book it is not as
prominent as what you see in the template. Be sure to delete or turn off that layer before
saving the jpg.

Are there any restrictions on what can be printed?
|
ASUKABOOK requires that you have copyright permission for all images included in your
order. Additionally, your files will not be sent into production if they contain illegal and/or
immoral content, or if the subject may be offensive to the public.

Who can order an Asukabook? |
Asukabooks are available to professional photographers and designers creating books
for resale or promotions. We do not sell directly to consumers. When you submit your
application for an account, we verify your business status. Please contact us if you have
any questions or are unsure if your business qualifies.
